Bending and Twisting Technology
The technology is mainly applied to complex variable and exposed structure of large projects, a solution to the fabrication of space box type structural elements under flexure and torsion. The development of this technology is a revolutionary reform against the traditional roasting and top-pressing fabrication processes, has remarkably increased the fabrication precision and efficiency.
2008 Beijing Olympic main stadium – Bird’s Nest, its structure is very complex. Nearly 30 technical problems need to be solved to hold up this behemoth of 48000 tons. How to design, produce and install over 3000 large bending and twisting steel members is a big challenge. JINGGONG conquered it with the technology of digital controlled machine for bending and twisting steel plates. From then on, the technology has been applied for Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, Dongying Snow Lotus Theater, Arches in King Fahad Financial Plaza, Makkah High Speed Railway Station, etc.
